How It Works

• Push each straight rail into a corner elbow to build the square
• Lay your fabric over the frame, leaving a little extra cloth past each edge
• Press one clamp over each side. The ribbed inner face grips the fabric against the rail
• Roll a clamp outward to tighten, or inward to ease the tension as you work
• Unclip one side to move the fabric along, then clip it back

The Punch Needle Options

Blue adjustable punch needle. One punch needle with four loop heights marked on the barrel: A 53 mm, B 43 mm, C 34 mm and D 24 mm. Move the shaft to a lettered notch to change how tall the loops stand. It comes with a wire threader and threading instructions, and has a light plastic body with a gold-tone metal tip. Choose it for yarn work where loop height is the effect, such as rugs, cushions and textured fills.

Wooden punch needle set. A beech wood handle, 11.3 cm (4.45 in), with a brass locking collar and three interchangeable needle tips: 5 mm, 3.5 mm and 2.5 mm. The 5 mm tip is 10 cm long and the two finer tips are 7 cm. A 24 cm (9.4 in) wire threader and threading instructions are included. Unscrew the collar to swap tips, so one handle works from six-strand embroidery floss up to chunky yarn.
