Check Your Needle Length First — It Takes Up to 10 Inches

The case body is 11 inches long and the interior takes knitting needles up to 10 inches. Measure your longest needle before you order. That is one minute now against a case that doesn't fit.

The Three Layers

Choosing a Design

Four of the five share the same interior. Botanical is built slightly differently — the needle holder pockets on one side are arranged differently from the other four. It holds the same kit; the layout just isn't identical, so if you have a specific arrangement in mind, pick one of the other four.

Denim Blue and Purple are plain textured finishes. Blue Boho, Green Peony and Botanical are printed. The prints run slightly deeper in person than on screen.

How This Compares

Against two separate cases. A hook case and a needle case cost more, weigh more, and split your notions between them. One case means the markers are always with whichever tool you picked up.

Against a crochet-hook-only case. Most hook cases run about 6 to 7 inches — fine for hooks, too short for a double pointed needle set. The extra length here is the reason both fit.

Against a long straight needle case. A 40 cm or 43 cm case takes 14 and 16 inch straights and little else. This one goes the other way: shorter, deeper, and organised for the tools and notions rather than for length.

Against an open roll. A roll is quick to scan and gives loose markers nowhere to live. Everything here closes.

Sizing, Materials & Care

Water-resistant coated Oxford outer over a light lining. It sheds a splash and wipes clean with a damp cloth; it is not designed to be submerged or machine washed. Dry it open if it gets wet.

The case is firm when new and the elastic slots are tight for the first week — both soften with use.

Questions Knitters Ask

What is the best way to store knitting needles?
Grouped by size, held so they cannot cross or bend, and closed in. Double pointed sets in particular want a sleeve rather than a loop, because a set of five in one pocket stays a set. Anything sharp wants a cover so it doesn't work through fabric.

Will it hold my long straight needles?
Up to 10 inches, yes. Above that, no — 14 and 16 inch straights need a long case built for the length.

Can it hold both knitting needles and crochet hooks?
